Punky Brewster was the popular kids series that
ran on NBC for three seasons during the 80's. Punky
was a orphan who ended up as the foster daughter of
a cranky old man named Henry. Punky Brewster
captured the heart of America. The show was a hit with
kids and Punky became a fashion trendsetter. The show
spawned a spin-off cartoon named It's Punky Brewster.
Despite it's popularity, after the 80's Punky kinda
disappeared. The show rarely ran in syndication and
was not available on DVD--until now. Shout Factory has
released both seasons of Punky Brewster on DVD.
