Perezhilton.com is one of the most popular celebrity gossip and entertainment blogs/website on the Internet. With hundreds of thousands of visitors a day, Perezhilton.com is quoted and mentioned in numerous print and on-line publications. When Perez broke the news to his readers that he was being sued for allegations related to the Colin Farrell sex tape which is floating all over the Internet, Perez reached out to his media readers to get his side of the story out.

Let's discuss this lawsuit. You were served with papers for a lawsuit regarding the Colin Farrell sex tape on Perezhilton.com?
Perez Hilton-Yes.

Did you actually host the sex tape on your website?
Perez Hilton-No, that's the thing. I actually, it may be hard to believe, I do respect his right to privacy. If somebody would have sent me the video or if somebody would have sent me the photos I would not have posted it, especially knowing that it's somewhat of a litigious thing because I hear they are trying to block the release of it and blah blah blah blah blah. However, I did not and I still do not think there is anything wrong with me linking to another site that is hosting the video and posting pictures that have already shown up on other websites. That's all that I did which is the same thing that other places did and I'm getting sued for it.

I don't think that's right either. You didn't host it and everybody was doing the same thing.

Do you think maybe you were singled out because you have such a high profile site?
Perez Hilton- I definitely think so. I also know that his lawyer has a vendetta for me.

Do you see any resolution to the case or do you think it's going to go through to an actual lawsuit?
Perez Hilton-I hope it won't go through. Nobody likes to get sued and I hope they realize that I shouldn't be in the same group of people as the ones who are trying to profit off of the video. I wasn't making money off of the video. I wasn't offering "click here."

I read what you posted and it read very clear that you were linking to the DirtyColin site and quoting them. It's not like you were saying, "Here it is from Perezhilton."
